Knovia.ai – Unified Terms of Use, End User Licence Agreement (EULA), Acceptable Use Policy & AI Disclaimers

These Terms constitute a binding agreement between Neoveda Technologies Pvt Ltd ("Knovia", "we", "our", "us") and you ("you", "user"). By creating an account on Knovia.ai, accessing our dashboards, or using our AI-powered scoring and analytics, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
SECTION A — TERMS OF USE (GENERAL CONDITIONS)
1. Eligibility
You must:
- be at least 16 years old, or
- have parental/guardian consent if below 16, and
- have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under Indian law.
Recruiters, colleges and enterprise users must be authorised representatives of their organisation.
2. About Knovia.ai
Knovia.ai is an employability and skills analytics platform that provides:
- Resume parsing and scoring
- Skill Evidence and Learning predictors
- AI-generated skill gap reports
- Role fitment scoring
- Behavioural and consistency analytics
- Recruiter dashboards (future phases)
- Verified evidence workflows
- API-backed GitHub validation
- Certificate validation & admin approval
The underlying logic of these predictors is documented in the Knovia Predictor Categories (Nov 20, 2025), and may evolve as the platform improves.
3. Account Creation & Security
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information.
You agree to:
- keep your login details confidential,
- be responsible for activity under your account,
- immediately notify us of any unauthorised access.
We may suspend accounts that appear suspicious, abusive, or fraudulent.
4. Services Provided "As Available"
Knovia is constantly evolving. Features may change, improve, or be temporarily unavailable.
We do not guarantee:
- uninterrupted service,
- exact accuracy of predictions,
- availability of third-party APIs (GitHub, LinkedIn, course providers),
- uptime of Azure cloud or OpenAI APIs.
5. User Responsibilities
By using Knovia, you agree to:
- provide truthful data,
- upload certificates and resumes only if you own or have rights to them,
- not misrepresent your skills or evidence,
- follow academic integrity rules and avoid plagiarism.
6. Recruiter & College Use
Recruiters/colleges may use Knovia ONLY to:
- evaluate candidate employability,
- view scores (when candidate has opted-in),
- download reports for internal assessment.
They may NOT:
- create bulk profiles using student data without consent,
- scrape, export, or download entire datasets,
- contact candidates without explicit consent,
- use scores for discriminatory or prohibited hiring decisions.
7. Payments & Subscriptions
(Enable whenever monetization starts)
- All paid services will be listed clearly on the pricing page.
- Fees once paid are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
- We may modify pricing with notice.
- Taxes (GST, etc.) will apply as per Indian law.
8. Intellectual Property
All rights to the following belong to Neoveda Technologies Pvt Ltd:
- Skill taxonomy
- Predictor models & algorithms
- Knovia Score methodology
- UI/UX, dashboards, reports
- AI-generated resume templates
- Combined Weighted Skill Evidence logic
- Learning Quotient computation
- Behavioural scoring logic
- All custom-built data structures, graphs and algorithmic flows
You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the platform.
You may NOT:
- reverse engineer any score, model, or predictor,
- replicate our skill taxonomy or scoring system,
- copy reports, dashboards or UI,
- use Knovia outputs to train AI models,
- benchmark Knovia against other platforms without consent.
9. Prohibited Conduct
You agree NOT to:
- Upload fake certificates or doctored documents
- Create accounts for others without consent
- Attempt to bypass admin validation
- Scrape data, text, dashboards, or scoring outputs
- Access public GitHub data for other users without rights
- Interfere with or overload our systems
- Use bots, crawlers, or automated scripts
- Upload malware or attempt to hack Knovia
- Use our platform to harm reputation of individuals or institutions
Violation may result in immediate termination and legal action.
10. Third-Party Integrations
Knovia uses several third-party systems, including but not limited to:
- Microsoft Azure for hosting & compute
- OpenAI APIs for text generation
- GitHub API for profile validation
- Email/SMS service providers
- Learning platforms (Udemy, Coursera, etc.) via certificate URLs
We are not responsible for:
- downtime in these services,
- API rate limits,
- policy changes by third parties.
11. AI Outputs & Limitations
Knovia uses OpenAI LLMs to generate:
- Skill gap analysis
- Learning suggestions
- Resume improvement
- Scoring summaries
- Explanations of predictor logic
You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated text may contain inaccuracies, approximations, or omissions.
- AI outputs are informational only and not deterministic.
- Scores are not hiring decisions.
- Users and recruiters should apply human judgment.
- Recruiters must apply human judgment.
You agree not to use AI outputs for:
- legal, medical, immigration, or financial decisions,
- automated hiring without human review.
12.Data Usage & Privacy
- Our Privacy Policy governs how we collect, process, store and protect your data.
By using Knovia, you consent to:
- storage of your data on Azure,
- secure transmission to OpenAI APIs for text generation
- usage of your public GitHub metadata for evidence scoring,
- sharing your data with recruiters ONLY when you explicitly opt-in.
13. Data Deletion
You may delete your account anytime.
Upon deletion:
- All personal data is permanently removed from active systems.
- Backups are purged as per retention cycles.
- Recruiter visibility is revoked immediately.
- Predictive model outputs tied to your account are erased.
14. Verification & Compliance
Knovia may verify:
- certificates,
- GitHub profiles,
- work experience,
- projects,
- identity (future),
- academic records (college integrations).
Attempts to forge or misrepresent data may lead to:
- permanent account ban,,
- deletion of scores,
- wreporting to academic institution,
- legal action under Indian IT Act 2000.
15. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- you violate these terms,
- your data appears fraudulent,
- there is security risk
- third-party API misuse occurs,
- we are required to do so by law.
16. Disclaimers
Knovia is not responsible for:
- job outcomes,
- recruiter decisions,
- accuracy of third-party data (e.g., GitHub),
- network issues,
- algorithmic limitations,
- subjective interpretations by colleges or recruiters
All insights are informational only..
17.Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law:
Knovia is not liable for:
- losses due to reliance on scores or AI-generated text,
- employment/recruitment outcomes,
- incorrect user-provided data,
- third-party system failures,
- indirect or consequential damages.
Our total liability shall never exceed the amount paid by you in the past 12 months (if any).
18. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Knovia for losses arising from:
- misuse of the platform,
- fake documents
- copyright-violating uploads,
- illegal activities
- API misuse,
- unauthorised scraping/exporting.
19.Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996.

20. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time.
Material changes will be notified via email or in-app alerts.
